IT Support Analyst

Location: Head Office, Sutton Coldfield B72 (with some travel when required)

Salary: £24k to £28k, DOE

Hours: 40hrs per week – Monday-Friday

Background 

CHS Healthcare is long-established in the health sector with a record of continuous growth and success. As part of our services to the NHS, we supply software and services to 150 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) helping them manage their provision of care to patients in nursing homes or at home. Typically, our software’s are used for continuing healthcare patients, holding a database of them, administering care requirements, validating invoices and paying care providers. Our services range from arranging care home placements and packages of care to the administration and management of providers on behalf of CCGs. Some of our contracts with CCGs require us to employ small teams of staff to help manage these services around the country.  All our IT systems are bespoke databases which have been developed to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Job Description

You will be responsible for working with the Software Development Manager to support the continuous improvement, support and testing of Software Application

This is very much a hands-on role. You will be the technical administrator in the delivery of new application functionality into the business, ensuring the end product is delivered to specification, on-time and adheres to any agreed quality standards.  Working closely with the Software Team, Internal and External Customers and Test team to agree design and functionality.

You will ensure the smooth day to day running of our applications and environments, work with the Software Development Manager to ensure that service levels are met, and identity any opportunity for improving the existing application landscape. You will also be involved in the acceptance and prioritisation of additional business requirements to amend our current applications as and when they arrive.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their own for periods, be able to work to deadlines, think on their feet, take responsibility and work under their own initiative. An excellent inter-personal manner is essential, always adopting a clear, positive, friendly but decisive approach.
