We offer a two-day module of training in continuing healthcare which is open to all NHS and local authority professionals.
The module is led by Art Calder, acknowledged as one of the leading experts in this field, and will provide comprehensive and practical training. It equates to 15 hours for professional revalidation and continuous professional development (CPD) portfolio.
We are running a regular programme of the training module at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, south-west London. We can also offer tailor-made training located within your NHS organisation to suit, according to need.
Day one of the course will cover the development of Continuing Healthcare in England, including case law, the national framework and how they have shaped the delivery of the service. In the afternoon, attendees will undertake a full screening exercise and share examples of good practice.
Day two has a practical focus, supported by further presentations and discussions and consolidating learning from the previous day.
The two-day module is long established and popular, having been completed by hundreds of professionals, including CHS Healthcare staff, NHS and local authority employees.
The module was created and is led by Art Calder, who led the implementation of the national framework for continuing healthcare from the inception of the framework and has overseen practice in senior strategic roles across the NHS.
CHS Healthcare is one of the largest independent providers of continuing healthcare services to the NHS and is the only provider operating in all four regions of England.
