Salary:  Circa £40K depending on experience  plus car allowance or company car

Background

CHS Healthcare is an expanding, dynamic company that has been a trusted provider to the NHS since 1995.  We hold a large number of contracts with the NHS making us the largest independent Care Coordinator in the UK.  Since 1995 we have built a reputation as a trusted, patient-focused, service. We specialise in assisting with the discharge of patients from hospital to suitable care homes or sourcing packages of care, whilst supporting families in the process.

About the role

The role of the Business Manager is a combination of contract and customer relationship management along with people management of teams working for and directly reporting to you.

Working closely with Senior Management, you will have key day to day decision-making responsibility for your individual schemes including the management of staff.

You will work with key stakeholders including senior NHS and Social Care Managers to develop existing relationships and to identify and seek opportunities to expand and extend them. You will also support Senior Management in pursuing new contract opportunities within your geographical area and working on the implementation of those that are successful.

In managing the individual schemes, you will be required to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders in each scheme and ensure that all delivery based or operational KPIs are met and comply with the reporting requirements required for each contract.

In addition to being responsible for the operational delivery of each team, you will be responsible for the performance of individual teams of staff who will be under the direct management of a team leader at each location. This will include overall responsibility for managing the recruitment, training, staff cover and compliance with company policies and procedures.

The role will require extensive travel within your region.

Are you?
