Developing Skill and capacity within the Continuing Healthcare workforce

About this webinar

As part of CHS Healthcare’s monthly CHC webinar series we would like to invite you to join us for the third installation ‘Developing skills and capacity in the Continuing Healthcare workforce’.

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman report, “Continuing Healthcare: Getting it right first time” recommended that skills and experience of NHS continuing healthcare practitioners are supported locally and that CCGs should make sure their teams receive regular training to equip them with the appropriate skills and knowledge for their roles. The report also noted the importance of developing capacity to deliver CHC.

Join us as we’ll be addressing the following questions:

  • How are organisations developing staff skills for CHC?
  • How are organisations ensuring they have capacity to address ongoing increasing activity in referrals via discharge to assess pathways?
  • Where do staff need the most support and what can be done to help?
  • What role can the Associate Continuing Healthcare Practitioner play in the assessment of an individual’s health and social care needs?

  • TBC
